หนังอิตาลีแนวสยองขวัญวัยรุ่น ที่คงจะได้ทางแวมไพร์โรแมนติกมาจากหนังดังอย่างทไวไลท์ ก็เลยเปลี่ยนมาเป็นหนังแวมไพร์วัยรุ่นที่เพียรพยายามเล่นเรื่องรักโรแมนติกเป็นเมนหลักมากยิ่งกว่าสยองขวัญ ซึ่งถ้าเกิดมันผสมกันดีๆก็บางครั้งก็อาจจะพอดีได้อยู่ แม้กระนั้นเนื่องจากว่าผู้ผลิตก็คงจะมิได้มีไอเดียอะไรใหม่กว่าทไวไลท์ ผลงานชิ้นนี้ก็เลยออกมาเป็นหนังครึ่งๆกลางๆรักก็ไม่สุด สยองขวัญก็มิได้

ซึ่งบทก็เขียนให้นางเอกที่ตื่นมาจากหลุมฝังศพได้เบาๆศึกษาการกินเลือดมนุษย์เพื่ออยู่รอด  Dont Kill Me โดยมีคนดูแลโอเวอร์เดดอีกคนช่วยสอนแนวทางรับประทานเลือดผู้ที่ถูกแบบไม่ทำให้ตาย ซึ่งก็ไม่เคยทราบว่าตัวเรื่องจะเพียรพยายามเจาะลึกชีวิตเหล่านี้อย่างถี่ถ้วนอย่างนั้นเพราะอะไร ในเมื่อนี่เป็นหนังความยาวเพียงแค่ชั่วโมงกว่า และจากนั้นก็มิได้มีรายละเอียดอะไรภายหลังให้สัมผัสได้เลย

ตัวหนังยังบากบั่นให้มีฉากบู๊แอ็กชั่นต่อยตีกันของนางเอกกับฝูงลูกกระจ๊อกจบท้ายตอนสุดท้าย ที่ดูๆไปแอบเหมือนฉากต่อสู้ในตำนานของหนังประเทศเกาหลี Oldboy อยู่นิดๆเป็นฉากสู้ในที่แคบ นางเอกมีท่อนเหล็กอันเดียวสู้กับทั้งยังกลุ่ม แต่ว่าก็ทำเป็นไม่ถึงอะไรแบบงั้น แต่ว่านี่เป็นส่วนที่มีความคิดว่าพอสมควรสนุกสนานได้มากที่สุดของเรื่องแล้ว ด้วยเหตุว่ายิ่งกว่านั้นเป็นตัวเรื่องใช้เวลาไปกับเรื่องรักการนึกถึงแฟนของนางล้วนๆ

ในส่วนเรื่องรักเป็นเปิดมาเรื่องก็พานางไปตายเลยโดยทันที ก่อนที่จะเบาๆแฟลชแบ็คกลับมาว่าสองคนนี้ไปพบกันได้อย่างไร แล้วรักกันอีท่าไหน เพราะว่าทางบ้านนางเอกก็กีดกั้นดารานำชายที่มองเค้าหน้าท่าทีแบบแบดบอยชัดๆแถมยังพากเพียรคัดเลือกเค้าหน้าผู้แสดงมาให้เหมือน โรเบิร์ต แพตติเตียนนสัน จากทไวไลท์แบบตั้งใจแจ้งชัด แม้กระนั้นหมอนี่ก็มิได้มีเสน่ห์อะไรขนาดนั้น

แล้วบทก็น้อยนิดด้วย เนื่องจากว่าอีกทั้งเรื่องจุดโฟกัสที่นางเอกเอกตอนนี้ที่มานะดำรงชีวิตอยู่เพราะเหตุ Dont Kill Me ว่ามั่นใจว่าแฟนชายหนุ่มรักแรกพบของคุณจำเป็นต้องรู้สึกตัวมาด้วย โดยพากเพียรกลับไปที่เก็บศพเสมอเพื่อคอยเขารู้สึกตัวกลับมา ซึ่งเป็นการดำเนินเรื่องแบบที่โง่เขลาเบาปัญญามากมายเสมือนหนังรักวัยรุ่นทึ่มๆหลงทาง
