ซึ่งพอได้พบหลวงพ่อก็ได้วานให้หลวงพี่แจ๊สไปนำเณรไปหาหลวงพ่อไชยา(จตุรงค์ พลบูรณ์) ที่กรุงเทพซึ่งพอเสร็จกิจแล้ว หลวงพี่แจ๊สก็ได้ขอตัวลากลับไปออกธุดงค์ต่อแต่ว่าหลวงพ่อไชยาได้ขอให้หลวงพี่แจ๊สอยู่ที่วัดต่อเพราะด้วยเหตุผลที่หลวงพี่แจ๊สมีชื่อเสียงและพอที่จะทำประโยชน์ให้กับวัดได้ แต่ยิ่งอยู่นานขึ้นหลวงพี่แจ๊สก็ได้เห็นความไม่ชอบมาพากลของหลวงพ่อและพระลูกวัดที่ใช้อำนาจหน้าที่ในการบริหารวัดในทางที่ไม่ถูก การสืบหาความจริงของวัดแห่งนี้จึงเริ่มต้นขึ้น

กระทั่งวันหนึ่งระหว่างธุดงค์อยู่ที่จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี หลวงพี่แจ๊สรู้มาว่าหลวงพ่อควรร่ำรวย (หยองลูกหยี)ได้มาย้ายมาเป็นเจ้าอาวาสอยู่ที่วัดในจังหวัดหลวงพี่แจ๊สก็เลยฉวยโอกาสไปกราบนมัสการหลวงพ่อ เมื่อเจอหลวงพ่อหลวงพ่อก็ได้วานหลวงพี่แจ๊สให้พาสามเณรไปพบหลวงพ่อไชยา(จตุรงค์ พลบูรณ์)ที่กรุงเทวดา
